June 2019

The Future of Fashion Summit, hosted by Hassan Pierre and Amanda Hearst, co-founders of Maison De Mode, took place at FIT in June 2019. The event celebrated six winning designers on their efforts to join sustainability into their fashion collections.

Guest speakers included Liya Kebede, Nina Garcia, Glenda Bailey, Gabriela Hearst, Julie Gilhart and more. Pictured to the left is Dotzen Kroes, model and environmental activist, sharing her inspiring story of becoming a Global Ambassador to Knot on my Planet; a campaign committed to offer a secure future for elephants by forging partnerships with fashion and luxury brands.

Following the event, Future of Fashion Summit guests gathered for one of the last dinners to close out the storied Four Seasons Restaurant — the Repeat Roses-designed florals featured lush cloud-white hydrangea.

Within hours of the event, we delivered 28 lush arrangements to The Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention where they were twice-loved by patients and staff.

Thank you to the Fashion Institute of Technology and Maison De Mode for hosting the Future of Fashion Summit and inviting us to design and repurpose the arrangements. Repeat Roses is honored to showcase how flowers can give a fashionable yet sustainable setting for polished panelists and guests at this year’s 2019 Summit.
