Why are we changing the conversation about floral waste?

Did you know that hundreds of pounds of flowers wind up in the trash after every wedding, corporate event, gala, movie set, awards show and sports celebrations?

Why on Earth would you throw away beautiful flowers after the party is over?

This is what Repeat Roses’ founder and seasoned event planner asked herself after witnessing a dumpster filled with beautiful blooms from a client’s event that were scarcely hours old. When she realized they were headed straight to the landfill, she set out to change the conversation and do something about it by acquiring Repeat Roses.

The company was started in 2014, but had to close in 2020 during the pandemic. Fast forward to 2023 when Jamie Seward found herself tossing beautiful arrangements into the same dumpster where the founder first realized that there had to be a better way. Jamie reached out to Repeat Roses’ founder who encouraged her to replant Repeat Roses’ roots.

Today, we honor the founder’s mission to shift the paradigm in the event industry by reimagining the single-use floral arrangement concept to spread joy and ensure sustainability takes root across the country. Noteworthy media coverage includes Vogue, Inc., NBC Nightly News, Town & Country, Vanity Fair, Oprah magazine, Martha Stewart Weddings, The Knot, Cheddar TV, InStyle, PureWow, Good Morning America, ABC World News, and over 50 profiles and feature stories publications to date.

With high-profile events ranging from Gwyneth Paltrow, Emmy Rossum, and Elena Delle Donne’s nuptials to marquis events including the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, SAG Awards, Kentucky Derby and NFL Super Bowl, clients trust Repeat Roses to deliver exceptional service that combines social impact and sustainability to give back to People and to Planet in a meaningful way.
